Project Highlight
Designed to serve approximately 100 single family homes in the Ivy Trails residential development, Bayer Becker designed a flush station to convey sewage from one side of the valley to the other without the aid of pumping equipment. The design utilizes the elevation difference between the wet well and the receiving manhole to operate the system. The system was sized to maintain self-cleansing velocities in the force main and collect a volume in the wet well sufficient to purge sewage in the force main low point with each flush. In addition, a portion of the force main is convertible to a gravity system once a relief sewer is constructed.
